Dr. Marc Raper
BSc, DDS, owner
Dr. Raper graduated from the University of Windsor in Honours Microbiology in 1986. He attended the University of Western Ontario where he studied Dentistry. In 1991, he graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery with distinction. He was top 10% of his graduating class of 40. During his studies, he was awarded with the American Dental Society Anesthesiology award in 1990 and the Association of Prosthodontics of Ontario award in 1991. After graduating, he completed a General Practice Residency in 1992 at the University of British Columbia, where he furthered his dental education treating advanced cases and medically compromised patients. He has been practicing as a general dentist for over 25 years. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but has a special interest in root canal treatments and clear aligner aesthetic orthodontics. Dr. Raper has extensively studied with Invisalign. "He is one of the most highly trained providers of Invisalign in North America" (Dr. David Galler, 2015). Dr. Raper is currently a preferred provider of Invisalign treatment having completed the required number of continuing education classes and treated the appropriate number of required cases.
Dr. Elsey Mota
On sabbatical until the fall of 2023
Drawn by the combination of arts and sciences, Dr. Mota set out to apply into dentistry straight out of CEGEP in 2011. In 2016, Dr. Mota graduated from McGill University, obtaining her Doctorate in Medical Dentistry degree from the Faculty of Dentistry.
She was awarded the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Award. Dr. Mota was then selected to complete a one-year General Practice Residency program at the Jewish General Hospital. This residency provided her with advanced training in a variety of dental specialties. She is both Canadian and American board certified and a member of the ODQ and ACDQ.
Her goal as a dentist is to provide high quality patient-centered dental care for the entire family. Dr. Mota is fluent in English, French, and Spanish and loves to travel.
